Astronomy tours in Gran Canaria

The Hesperience Tour.

Every Thursday, enjoy a fantastic stargazing night in the Gran Canaria island. You will be picked up from YOUR RIU HOTEL in south Gran Canaria, and driven inland to the center of Gran Canaria.

You will discover breathtaking landscapes. Once far away from the light pollution, after the sunset, we will mount a powerful telescope and watch the stars, planets, nebulae, galaxies, clusters, etc.

My name is Gauthier, I am the owner guide and astronomer at Hesperience. Carmelo, Sebastian, Francesco and myself we would be happy to share with you our passion for astronomy we had since childhood.

Your trip will take place when and where conditions are optimum as we monitor the weather constantly. You will be taken to the darkest area of the island when and where the sky is clear, adapting the observing point to the wind and clouds.

Service

For your comfort, pickup is done using a small van or minibus.

Group size: maximum of 8 people for every large telescope.

English and Spanish are spoken.

Timing

This excursion takes place every Thursday, weather permitting.

Prices through TUI partner

First participant: 77 €

Additional participant: 70 €

Babies and children up to 12 years old: discount of 5€

Prices include transport FROM ANY RIU HOTEL in south Gran Canaria.

This prices also include the IGIC local tax equivalent to VAT. NO hidden fees, nothing more to pay.
